I’m just a guy with a pair of running shoes who can (on most days) turn off the inner dialogue that tries to convince us to settle for “feeling ok with just feeling ok”.
We all have those voices, and doubt. And overcoming it is certainly in part psychological.
But there are VERY real physiological, biochemical, neurochemical changes that happen when we move. When we get outside, breathe fresh air, and move.
They say let food be thy medicine. I would add to that: movement and being outdoors as well can be a powerful medicine, for both body and mind.
